What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

I don’t know about you, but that seemed to go really fast! I can’t believe we’re at the final installment. Finished quilt tops should be popping up all over! Some of you are ready for this one, and I love all the photos I’ve seen in the FaceBook group.

We’re at the halfway point already — can you believe it? I have really liked seeing all the completed blocks popping up in the Facebook group. It’s so fun to look at other people’s scraps and how they use them!

It’s springtime in Arrow Rock, and the Arrow Rock Quilt Camp was ON all this week. It was as much fun as ever, and even tho I did not teach this year, I DID get to go visit all the campers twice! And I’m so glad I did — I think I would have been extra sad if I was sitting at home the entire time knowing they were camping without me.

Well, folks, this is it! The final month of the Arrow Rock Sampler!

I’m so excited and impressed by the progress I’ve been seeing in the Facebook group. Finished quilts should be popping up soon, and I hope to see some of them in person at next year’s Camp!

Planning is in progress for the 2021 Arrow Rock Quilt Camp, scheduled for May 3-7, altho it remains to be seen if we can actually pull off an actual gathering like Camp when the time comes. Paula and Larry have turned the reins over to the capable hands ...

We’re building some buildings this month! I had to include the buildings in Arrow Rock that we use during Camp. Most of the classes are held in the Schoolhouse, so there’s a schoolhouse block. And we also use Brown’s Chapel ...

I’m seriously having a really hard time keeping track of what day it is. I guess it doesn’t matter, since mine are all pretty much alike . . . until it comes to a deadline . . . and I’ve thrown off my entire August schedule because I got stuck back in the first week and kept thinking that it was still the first week, and yesterday, the school bus went by for the first time since early March, and I’m just so confused! I’m also having a really hard time believing that summer is almost over. It seems like it ...

Today I’m happy to be introducing The Arrow Rock Sampler Block-of-the-Month program!

The Village of Arrow Rock, Missouri, is a historical little village where, once you enter, you’re transported back in time, where things move a little slower, everything’s a lot quieter, there’s no cell phone signal, no traffic, and the birds are really happy! Cute little specialty shops, a few wonderful restaurants, lots of pretty flowers, a famous Lyceum Theater, friendly people, and several buildings of great historical significance to the village can also be found in Arrow Rock.
